It has been five and a half years since the opening of AREA Paris.

During this time, there was COVID, the war between Russia and Ukraine, the large-scale “Gilets Jaunes” protests against taxes in France, and the Olympic Games. Despite all of this, AREA has gradually been accepted by Parisians, and our furniture from the East has successfully added a new touch of color to Parisian life.

We recently had the opportunity to photograph a residential apartment in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. You can truly feel it through the photos.

パリのレジデンス街並み

Most buildings in Paris were built centuries ago, and the authorities prohibit reconstruction. The exteriors are made of beautiful beige stone, while inside you’ll often find dark wooden beams and pillars.

The interiors are constantly renovated, but many retain their classic décor. When Japanese aesthetics are mixed into the traditional French setting, a completely new space is born.

This time, we photographed the residence of an architect family.
Here’s a little preview!

The residents’ own furniture and decorations freely blend with AREA’s pieces, expressing a one-of-a-kind aesthetic.

At AREA, we will continue to bring out enriching interiors for diverse lifestyles from New York, Paris, and Tokyo!
