A chair named for wickedness. The horns protruding from the lower back cushion are
certainly impressive. The carved arms betray a slight, demonstrating ergonomic tilt.
Designed by Go Noda
Made in Japan
Made with a new approach to deliberately incorporate decorative elements in an inherently simple form, this distinctive series design creates a common worldview with its delicate lines. The finials on the chair back imitate horns of the demonic Oni. The Oni demon evoked here is in regards to the earlier word Onu, or unseen, and represents an etymological heritage forgotten in our modern age.
